Admittedly, I've never been a big fan of MLS. I gave the league a chance when I was younger, but the older I got and started paying more attention to the other leagues in the world, the more I've realized that MLS just does not compare. There is no dynamism in the league. There are no players that make me look forward to watching in game day.
At least when I watch the Brazilian league I know that the likes of Hernanes and Neymar are bound to do something exciting. When I watch the Mexican league, I know the games are going to be end to end and full of technique. The European leagues provide a focus on tactics and an enormous amount of technically gifted players. MLS lovers will always talk about how young the league is, but at the end of the day, the league just isn't good enough. The teams all pretty much play like the U.S. national team. I don't know what it would take for me to fall in love with this league. The talent just isn't booming in the league and the foreign players the teams are attracting aren't giving their all.
